Orunmila, also known as "Orula (in the syncretism of Santeria)", is the divinity of divination and wisdom. He is the witness of God (Olodumare) when he devised and built the universe. Orunmila knows, therefore, the destiny of all things and living beings, how they originated, how they are, and how they will end. By receiving or consulting Orunmila, people can know their destiny, both in the physical and spiritual world, know what are the difficulties that will threaten them, and how to get rid of them through adequately summoning energy, our culture of existence, among other things. The Wise Soothsayer. It represents the wisdom of old age, it is the maximum exponent of the Ifa precepts. Its main mission is to engender good in the greatest number of human beings through Ifa and its advice. Orunmila was there when each one of us chose his destiny on earth before being born; for the same reason it knows our present, past and future (the Word of Orunmila is an extension of the word of Olodumare). Orunmila was the only deity who agreed with Ikú (Death) making her respect her children (Ildé and Collar de Orunmila).
